Ira and Kat are the owners of Key West Fantasy Foto. The studio specializes in Fine Art Fantasy Photography.

Ira had his first darkroom when he was 11 years old. Packing a Brownie camera, his first images were of the girl next door. Since then he saw the world through his lens. As a child living in Chicago he had the privilege of visiting many art museums and was inspired by the masters.
Ira has won over 100 awards both nationally and internationally. Ira traveled to Europe and submitted his portfolio of award winning prints to the International Artist Federation also known as UNESCO. Subsequently he was inducted into the federation and was made a member.

His exemplary scores and service to the Professional Photographers Society of Central Florida has earned him the coveted Central Floridas Photographer of the Year award two years in a row. Throughout the 50 years of PPSCF no one in our County has ever carried this title and recognition.

Ira is the past president of the Professional Photographers Society of Central Florida (PPSCF) an organization that is dedicated to scientific learning, research and instruction in connection with the art, science and profession of photography.

He served as an instructor at Florida school for Professional Photographers at DBC. Ira was a featured speaker for FPP teaching advanced Photoshop around the State of Florida.
