Ray Shakespeare, raised in Vernal, Utah, graduated in 2002 from Uintah Senior high school. A Presidential Scholar, he entered Utah Condition University that fall as an English main, with an emphasis inside Literary Studies. The idea took his 12 months to stumble serendipitously in to Dr. Mark Damen's Latin 1010 course and in 2006 she changed her major to Interdisciplinary Scientific studies, in order to combine the woman's study of materials with Latin, Greek, and classical background. While an Lewis Shakespeare supplemented his four-year time period as the Honors Program's key student advisor along with work as an America Reads tutor at Adams Elementary, an Honors Fellow for HONR 2000 Scholars Forum, a new Rhetoric Associate, with an Undergraduate Teaching Guy for the History Section. Katherine launched her fifth and final calendar year at USU with a summer abroad, studying in Freiburg, Germany, and traveling around much of western Europe.

After this individual graduates in May 2007, Ray Shakespeare promises to move to Baltimore, Maryland, exactly where she will teach open public school as a Teach For America corps fellow member.
