Depending on the fryer's instructions, it takes the system about 20 minutes to succeed in 375, and then the signal light is out. My signal light ran out when it reached primarily 330 degrees! That's scarcely "ready" for frying, but I wouldn't have known when I hadn't used my own ring thermometer. I waited some more minutes, and it gradually reached 359. Naturally, the temp falls again once you lower any amount of food in to the oil, but the heating unit never usually kick itself back regarding. So the ultimate preparing temp of 375 amounts isn't possible, I imagine.
