Felix the Cat: The Movie is Released in the U.S.
August 1991
New World Pictures' classic animated film Felix the Cat: The Movie is released in the U.S., hoping to spark new interest in the 1920's character. The movie cost $9 mil to make, and only grossed $1.9 mil at the box office.
